PITTSBURG, KS. - Senior distance runner Joseph Leventry is set to take on the NCAA Division II Indoor Finals this weekend, in Pittsburg, Kansas.  Leventry made the cut in the men's 3,000 meter run to earn a spot in the field at the 2022 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships. When the Falcons took Leventry qualified in the event with a time of 8:02.63 at the Boston University Last Chance Meet where he finished 13th.

In the fall of 2021, Leventry made program history when he was the first cross country runner at Montevallo to compete at the DII championships.
