RALEIGH, N.C. - Montevallo distance runner, Joe Leventry took on the Raleigh Relays hosted by North Carolina State University, Thursday in Raleigh.  

Leventry placed 50th in the 5K with a finals time of 14:16.34, resetting a new Montevallo record in the event.  Leventry's time also clears the NCAA qualifying standard for the event.  Leventry's submitted a time that was faster than multiple Division I institutions including Duke, Michigan, Virginia Tech, Georgia, Florida State, Purdue, and many others.
