CLINTON, Miss. – The Montevallo men's track and field team submitted a strong showing at the GSC Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The Falcons placed fourth overall and took many top finishes and broken records.

Caleb Kariuki dominated in triple jump Saturday at the 2022 Gulf South Conference Outdoor Championships at Mississippi College in Clinton, MS. He scores at 1.59m.
Three Falcons scored top five in the Men's Decathalon 100m dash. Nate Boleware placed second at 10.96,
David Vick placed 3
rd at 11.36m and
Ryan Janson placed fourth at 11.37m. A pair of top 5 honors for the Falcons in men's decathalon 400m dash.

Nate Boleware set a new Gulf South conference record at 7.03m in Men's Decathalon Long Jump, while
Micah Flores scores 4
th at 6.49m, and
David Vick scores fifth at 6.36m.
Falcons snatched another pair of top 5 honors in the men's decathalon shot put.
Ryan Janson scored third at 9.81m and Nate Boleware scored fourth at 9.35m.
David Vick scored third at 1.80m and Nate Boleware tied for fourth at 1.74m in Men's Decathalon High Jump.
David Vick placed fourth in Men's Decathalon in 100m Hurdles as Nate Boleware scores 5
th at 17.44m. Three Falcons snatched top 5 honors in men's decathlon 1500m.
David Vicks scored third at 4:55.37,
Micah Flores scored 4
th at 4:57.52, and
Ryan Janson scored 5
th at 4:58.26. Joseph Leventry grabbed a top 10 in honor in Men's 5000 at seventh with a time of 15:08.72.
In men's decathalon discus throw, Nate Boleware placed 27.82m,
Ryan Janson placed fourth at 27.50m, and
Micah Flores places fifth at 26.96m.
Micah Flores places 2
nd at 4.30m in Men's Decathalon Pole Vault, as Nate Boleware places fifth at 3.50m. Another trio of top 5 honors in store for the falcons. In the Men's Decathalon Javelin Throw,
Micah Flores places fifth at 47.82m,
David Vick places fourth at 44.17m, and Nate Boleware placed fifth at 43.32m.
In Men's Shot Put, Eric Myrick finished 6
th at 14.36m. Also in the men's triple jump,
Joshua Pruitt scored second at 14.51m, and Esclavon Pruitt placed 5
th at 13.44m.
Freddie Hawkins took third in men's high jump at 2.00m.
Jospeh Leventry snatched seventh in men's 1500.
Julian Fore scores eighth in mens 400m dash.
Kyle Tidwell places fifth at 4.61m in the men's pole vault. In Men's Discus Throw, Eric Myrick placed sixth at 41.90m.
Caleb Kariuki grabbed third place at 7.19m, as Nate Boleware placed eighth at 6.71m in Men's Long Jump.
In Men's Javelin Throw, Devandruis McCollum placed fourth at 51.92m and
Micah Flores placed seventh at 50.47m.
