HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The University of Montevallo volleyball teams drops their final match of the regular season in four sets against Alabama-Huntsville on Friday, Nov. 15.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Set 1
- After a block by Ellise Hanson and Danielle Greene, UAH won the next four consecutive points.
- Montevallo climbed back into the set by taking advantage of Charger mistakes.
- Alabama-Huntsville went on an 11-2 run including five kills, two aces and four UM attack errors.
- UAH won the set by taking the final four out of five points.
- Alabama-Huntsville had 16 kills compared to Montevallo's four in the first set.
Set 2
- The Chargers continued their momentum from the first set into the second with a 10-2 run including three kills, an ace, a block and five Falcon miscues.
- UAH went on to hold the Falcons to 15 points for the second set in the match.
- The Chargers held UM to a -.048 hitting percentage.
Set 3
- After two points by Alabama-Huntsville, Montevallo went on a 4-0 run with kills by Eliza Tyrrell and Danielle Greene. Blakeley Robbins had two assists in the run.
- UAH took the lead with a 5-1 run.
- The Falcons took the lead back with a 5-1 run of their own. UM had kills by Katie Wilkerson and Eliza Tyrrell. Grace Petro had an ace in the run.
- After UAH won the next four consecutive points, UM won three straight points with kills by Greene and Wilkerson. UAH had an attack error to start the Falcon run.
- The Chargers and Falcons traded four-point swings.
- Kills by Ellise Hanson and Claire Hayes tied the set at 19-19.
- After Alabama-Huntsville took a 23-22 lead. Montevallo won the final three points of the set to stay alive. UAH had two errors and Katie Wilkerson had a kill in the 3-0 run.
Set 4
- The Falcons and Chargers started the set tied at 4-4. UM got their points with kills by Brooklyn Hudson and Ellise Hanson. UAH had two errors.
- Montevallo took the lead by forcing three Charger errors and a Claire Hayes kill.
- After UM took an 11-8 lead, UAH went on a 17-3 run to take the set and the match from the Falcons.
