INDIANAPOLIS, In. – Jake Chisolm and Colt Brown end their runs in the 45^th Annual Midwest Classic hosted by the University of Indianapolis on Sunday, Dec. 15.
 
Chisolm picked up two victories today and placed in eighth for the Falcons as he started his day off by taking down Pitt-Johnstown's Gavyn Beck in a high-scoring 15-11 decision. He won his second ranked match of the tournament and season against No. 2 Cory Peterson of McKendree by medical forfeit. He would lose by medical forfeit the next round. Chisolm went 4-2 in the Midwest Classic and is now 14-6 on the season.
 
Brown advanced to day two of competition of the Midwest Classic alongside Chisolm. He started his day with a dominant victory over UIndy's Nathan Smith where Brown earned his second pin of the season and his fastest fall of the season at 3:37. He fell to the number 13 ranked wrestler in the 125-weight class, Studd Morris of Central Oklahoma, in his second bout. Brown earned three wins at the Midwest Classic to push him to 13-5 on the season and is a combined 9-1 in bouts ending in decisions and falls.

• Jake Chisolm placed eighth for the Falcons as he picked up a 15-11 win over Gavyn Beck of Pitt-Johnstown. He advanced with a medical forfeit over No. 2 Cory Peterson of McKendree. Chisolm won two ranked bouts in the Midwest Classic and is now 14-6 for the season.
