TROY, Ala. – The University of Montevallo men's and women's track and field teams finish the Doc Anderson Invitational on Saturday, Apr. 13.
Elizabeth Hayhurst continues her dominance in the javelin as she hit an NCAA Provo Mark with a distance of 42.01 meters. The sophomore from Pelham, Ala. would also set a personal record with her first-place throw in the javelin.
Katlynn Brothers would set a personal best in the javelin with a throw of 35.71 meters.
Zauren Burton would follow up with a PR in the 200-meter with an 11
th place time of 26.67. Burton would also place third in the high jump as she cleared a height of 1.58 meters.
Morgan Remley would post a podium finish with a third-place time of 20:59.77 in the 5000-meter.
Walter Womack and
Dwight Bellamy would set personal record's in the 100-meter with times of 10.69 and 11.01 respectively. Freshman
Tyrone Reese set a PR in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.62.
The Falcons would set three PR's in the men's 400-meter as
Amari Lewis,
Shawn Henry II and
Will Stroud would post times of 49.37, 51.75 and 54.56. In the men's 400-meter hurdles,
Kendric Croft set a personal best with a time of 59.68.
Zac Lamb would set the finish PR for the track portion with a time of 4:20.29.
In the throws,
Zane Weeks set two personal record's in the discus with a throw of 40.65 and in the javelin as he threw a distance of 52.75 meters.

The Falcons will turn their attention to the Gulf South Conference meet on Thursday, May 2 through Saturday, May 4. The championships with be hosted by the University of Montevallo and held in Montevallo, Ala.
