CARROLLTON, Ga. – The University of Montevallo men's and women's track and field teams finish competition at the UWG Legends Invitational in Carrollton, Ga. hosted by the University of West Georgia.
 
Abby Snyder won first place in the 1500-meter with a personal best time of 5:08.42. Snyder also competed in the 800-meter where she ran a time of 2:32.43. Emily Wolf had a great day in the throws as she took first in the discus throw as she threw a distance of 41.01 meters. Wolf throw in the hammer throw and notched a fourth-place finish with a distance of 45.73 meters. Also in the women's throw, Elizabeth Hayhurst was impressive as she posted two personal records. Hayhurst won first in the javelin with a throw of 40.83 meters (PR) and in the discus with a Personal best distance of 29.97 meters.
 
Zane Weeks posted the top finish for the men as he took first in the javelin with a throw of 51.94 meters. Weeks competed in the discus throw where he set a personal record with a distance of 38.50 meters. Leah Dendy continues her run of dominance in the pole vault with a first-place finish as she cleared a height of 3.61 meters. Dendy has now four first-place finishes in the pole vault in the outdoor season.
 
Zauren Burton posted a personal best in the high jump with a third-place finish of 1.67 meters. Burton competed in the 4x100 with a time of 50.51. Alex Malone had a podium finish for the Falcons as he leaped a distance of 6.72 meters in the long jump.

The Falcons will compete in their last regular season meet on Friday, Apr. 12 and Saturday, Apr. 13 at the Troy Invitational in Troy, Ala.
