MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Montevallo Athletics has named Men's Soccer's Andre Etcheverry and Women's Soccer's Lainey Farabaugh as Montevallo Players of the Week Presented by Jack's.
 
Andre Etcheverry (Men's Soccer)
Etcheverry's week featured an unbeaten 1-0-1 record in goal with a pair of starts for the Falcons and a total of 12 saves on 26 shots faced for a .916 save percentage for the junior. In a 1-1 road draw at Alabama Huntsville, Etcheverry recorded five saves on 13 shots faced with just one goal allowed for a .833 save percentage in 90 minutes in goal. The junior rebounded with his second clean sheet of the season in a 1-0 win over West Alabama with seven saves for a 1.000 save percentage.
 
Lainey Farabaugh (Women's Soccer)
Farabaugh's week featured the junior's first career hat trick during women's soccer's 2-0 week. In a win over Christian Brothers on Oct. 1, the junior fired a pair of shots with one on frame while playing a total of 72 minutes. She then rebounded with three goals on four shots with three on target in 66 minutes of action during Montevallo's 7-2 win over Union.
