Falcons Selected to 2025 NCAA Women's Soccer Championship

MONTEVALLO, Ala. – For the second time in as many seasons, Montevallo women's soccer was selected to the 2025 NCAA Women's Soccer Championship.
 
The Falcons enter the national tournament as the No. 6 seed in the NCAA South Region. Montevallo will face No. 3 seed Lee on Friday, Nov. 21 in the first round of the tournament in Ft. Lauderdale. Fla. as second-seeded Nova Southeastern was selected as the second host site for the South Region tournament. The winner of Montevallo and Lee will move on the face Nova Southeastern on Nov. 23.
 
Montevallo joins another pair of Gulf South Conference members in top seed West Florida alongside the Falcons' first-round opponent in Lee. A trio of teams from the Sunshine State Conference were selected in No. 5 Florida Tech, No. 5 Embry-Riddle and No. 2 Nova Southeastern.
 
2025 marks the Falcons' fourth selection to the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship and the first time Montevallo has been selected to back-to-back tournaments, both of which were at-large bids. This year's selection also marks the third time Head Coach Jake Wyman has led a team to the national tournament.
