Six Falcons Named CSC Women's Soccer Academic All-District

MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The College Sports Communicators have announced its 2025 Academic All-District Women's Soccer Teams with six Falcons earning the academic honor.

Batie Casey, Isabel Dillehay, Lainey Farabaugh, Morgan Goehring, Shelby Irwin and Madysen Legere have all been named CSC Academic All-District.
 
Casey, a freshman midfielder, was named Academic All-District after posting a 4.00 GPA as a Psychology major. The Germantown, Tenn. native posted three points on one goal and one assist in 20 appearances for Montevallo with 18 starts. The freshman tallied a total 1,276 minutes of action in her debut season as a Falcon.
 
Dillehay holds a 3.65 cumulative GPA as a junior exercise and nutrition science major. The Centennial, Colo. native added a total of 12 points on three goals and six assists in her third season on the bricks. In her 22 starts in 2025, Dillehay tallied a total of 27 shots with 12 on frame while playing a total of 1,555 minutes.
 
Farabaugh, a junior Data Analytics major, earned the academic honor after posting a 4.00 cumulative GPA. The First Team All-Region member led the Gulf South Conference with a total of 12 goals on the season with 56 shots and 27 shots on goal while scoring four game-winning goals. In her 22 starts, Farabaugh played a total of 1,563 minutes of action.
 
Goehring, a junior midfielder from Yorba Linda, Ca., was named CSC Academic All-District after earning a 3.90 cumulative GPA in pursuit of her Mathematics degree. The First Team All-GSC member scored a total of 20 points on the season with six goals and a team-high eight assists while firing 47 shots with 21 on frame in 1,709 minutes of action.
 
Irwin, a senior Marketing major, posted a 3.71 cumulative GPA to earn her first career CSC Academic All-District honor. The Corona, Ca. native led Montevallo's backline in 21 appearances with 20 starts on the season while playing a total of 1,788 minutes of action.
 
Legere, a senior defender from Corona, Ca., tallied her Academic All-District award after posting a 4.00 GPA as a double major in both Biology and Chemistry. Legere posted a total of 19 starts on the season with 1,618 minutes of action while anchoring Montevallo's backline.
 
Morgan Goehring and Lainey Farabaugh will move on to Academic All-America voting with the All-America Teams announced on Wednesday, Dec. 17.
