Falcon Quartet Named D2 CCA All-South Region

MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Div. II Conference Commissioners Association has announced its 2025 All-South Region Women's Soccer Team with a quartet of Falcons earning the regional honor.

Lainey Farabaugh highlighted Montevallo's selections as the lone first team member while the junior forward is joined by Morgan Goehring, Bear Bradbury and Madysen Legere as second team honorees.
 
Farabaugh, a native of Altoona, Pa., led Montevallo and is tied at the top of the Gulf South Conference with a total of 12 goals on the season while ranking second in the league and first on the team with four game-winning goals. The junior fired a total of 128 shots on the season while taking 72 shots on goal. Farabaugh tallied one of just four hat tricks in the GSC in 2025 with three goals in Montevallo's 7-2 win over Union on Oct. 4 while adding another two-goal game in Montevallo's 3-2 over Spring Hill in the first round of the 2025 GSC Championship. 2025 marks Farabaugh's first-career All-Region selection.
 
Goehring makes her second-consecutive All-Region team after posting a total of 20 points on the season with six goals and a team-high eight assists that rank tied for the top mark in the league. The Yorba Linda, Ca. native's six goals came on 47 shot attempts with 21 of the shots on target. The junior set the conference's top mark with three assists in Montevallo dominant win over Union on Oct. 4 while adding a six-point outing on a pair of goals and two assists in Montevallo's 4-0 win over Valdosta State back on Sept. 20.
 
Bradbury's first career D2CCA All-Region selection follows a 2025 season that saw the senior tally a total of 10 points on three goals and four assists after playing in all 22 games for Montevallo. The Covina, Ca. native played all 90 minutes in nine of the Falcons' 22 outings in 2025 to lead the squad with a total of 1,886 minutes of action. Bradbury's senior campaign also featured a Second Team All-GSC selection back on Nov. 7.
 
Finally, Madysen Legere earned her first-career All-Region honor after appearing in 19 of Montevallo's 22 games this season. The senior defender fired a total of 10 shots on the season with five on frame while playing all 90 minutes in a total of 11 games in 2025. The Corona, Ca. native also earned her first All-GSC selection as a second team defender.
 
Montevallo's four selections to the 2025 D2 CCA All-South Region Women's Soccer Team is tied with Nova Southeastern for the second-most all-region members by a single program behind West Florida's seven honorees.
 
As Montevallo's lone First Team All-South Region member, Lainey Farabaugh will move on to the 2025 D2 CCA All-America voting with the team released on Dec. 9.
