MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Montevallo men's and women's track and field teams are set to compete in the GSC Indoor Championships held on Thursday and Friday at the Birmingham Crossplex.

Spector parking at the Birmingham CrossPlex will be $10/daily (credit card only). No outside food/drinks are not permitted into the Birmingham CrossPlex. Concessions will be open for the duration of the event. All transactions at the Birmingham CrossPlex are cashless.

So Far This Season…
The Falcons opened the season at the Birmingham Indoor Ice Breaker where Montevallo captured multiple top-ten finishes and personal records.
Montevallo then competed at the Samford, Multi, Invite and Open (Jan. 16-18), where a trio of Falcons earned podium finishes.
Zauren Burton earned the highest finish for UM, placing second in the Women's High Jump (1.60m). A pair of Falcons secured third place finishes in the 5000m as
Natalie Warner ran a 18:40.56 in the Women's 5000m and
Jackson Howse ran a 15:07.39 in the Men's 5000m.
The Falcons closed the regular season at the UAB Vulcan Invite (Feb. 7) and the UAB Green and Gold Invite (Feb. 8). The Falcons had a solid weekend, earning 19 personal records across the two days.
Emily Wolf garnered a pair of top-ten finishes in the shot put and weight throw, while
Julian Fore was part of four first place finishes (4x400 relay twice, 800m, and 600m).
Region Rankings
Heading into the conference meet both the men and women rank fifth in the USTFCCCA South Region Poll.
Action at the Birmingham Crossplex is set to take place at 10 am CST.
