INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The University of Montevallo wrestling team wraps up their second season in program history at the 2025 NCAA Division II National Championships on Friday, Mar. 14 inside the Corteva Colliseum.

A historic season comes to a close for the Falcons as Jake Chisolm and Colt Brown made program history as being the first 165 and 125 to make it to the national stage.

Both wrestlers did not record a win as they took on some of the highest ranked wrestlers Division II has to offer. 

Colt Brown (125-Weight Class):
Champ. Round 1 - Dayson Torgerson (Colorado Mesa) 22-7 won by tech fall over Colt Brown (Montevallo) 18-8 (TF-1.5 4:33 (18-1))
Prelim - Kaden Kuenzi (Lander) 20-10 won by fall over Colt Brown (Montevallo) 18-8 (Fall 1:54)

Jake Chisolm (165-Weight Class)
Champ. Round 1 - Dajun Johnson (Wis.-Parkside) 31-6 won by major decision over Jakob Chisolm (Montevallo) 22-9 (MD 13-3)
Prelim - Leo Mushinsky (UMary) 13-9 won by tech fall over Jakob Chisolm (Montevallo) 22-9 (TF-1.5 5:58 (16-1))
