Track & Field Gears up for Berry Field Day Invitational

MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Montevallo track and field teams return to action on Friday, as the Falcons are set to compete at the Berry Field Day and Multi Invite this weekend.

So Far This Season…
Montevallo opened the outdoor season strong, as 12 Falcons picked up 13 first place finishes at the UWA Invitational. Montevallo followed that up with strong performances at the Falcon Classic and Multi, garnering 20 top-three finishes, which included seven first place finishes. The Falcons went on to have a strong showing in Starkville, capturing multiple top-ten finishes at the Mississippi State Alumni Bulldog Relays.

Last time out, Montevallo had a strong showing at the Troy Doc Anderson Invitational. Brandon Fisher captured the best place finish of the weekend, finishing first in the Men's Pole Vault, as he set a personal record with a height of 4.00m. Emily Wolf, Katie Wilkerson, Slate Rohrer, Caleb Kariuki, and Corey Perkins all garnered multiple top-three finishes in Troy.

Action on Friday is set for 10:00 a.m. CST.
