BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Gulf South Conference released its Yearly Awards for the 2025 GSC Outdoor Track and Field season, with Montevallo's
Emily Wolf being named Co-Field Athlete of the Year and five Falcons garnering seven All-Conference accolades.
Emily Wolf picks up her second consecutive GSC Outdoor Yearly Award, after being Freshman of the Year in 2024.
The Foley, Ala. native has been solid for the Falcons all year and closed the outdoor season strong being named Most Outstanding Field Athlete at the GSC Outdoor Championships where she scored 25 points for Montevallo. The sophomore won the Women's Hammer Throw championship, placing first overall with a season best throw of 49.38m. Wolf earned another podium finish in the Shot Put, placing second with a throw of 13.27m. The sophomore placed fifth in the Women's Discus (39.83m) and sixth in the Women's Javelin Throw (32.70m).
Wolf picked up a pair of All-Conference accolades, earning first team honors in the Hammer Throw and second team honors in the Shot Put.
Katie Wilkerson also picked up a pair of All-Conference nods. The freshman was named First Team All-Conference for the Discus Throw, as she broke the GSC record with a throw of 46.08m. Wilkerson picked up second team honors in the Javelin Throw (38.87m).
Leah Dendy also captured a spot on the Second Team All-Conference list for the Pole Vault (3.50m).
Two Falcon men earned Second Team All-Conference accolades including
Corey Perkins for Long Jump (7.27m) and
Eran Foye Jr. for High Jump (1.90m).
