MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The University of Montevallo acrobatics and tumbling team is set for their final regular season meet of 2025 as they take on No. 10 Saint Leo and Talladega on Thursday, Apr. 10 inside Central State Bank Arena. This will be the Falcons first tri-meet in program history.

About Montevallo
Although Montevallo fell to the Blue Hose in their previous meet, the Falcons had their best meet of the season with season-highs in four different events as well as they best total score of the season at 246.790.
UM set season-highs in the compulsory event (36.45), the acro event (26.65), the pyramid event (28.85) and the toss event (26.40). In the tumbling event in their previous meet against Presbyterian,
Katie Quinn and
Avery Grant set a season-high in the duo pass with an 8.550. In the quad pass, the team of
Kyla Krause,
Morgan Wright,
Rilyn McAllister and
Raedyn Register put up a season-high of 7.550. They would round out the event with 8.30 or higher in the aerial, 6-element and open pass.
As they head into the final meet day of their inaugural season, UM averages a total score of 240.761. The Falcons will look to start hot in the compulsory as they have totaled three scores this season of 35.00 or higher including in their past two meets.
Scouting No. 10 Saint Leo
The Lions have been impressive this season with a 4-2 record. Their only losses are to No. 1 Baylor by a score of 277.450-249.950 and to No. 2 Quinnipac 265.520-252.885.
Saint Leo is currently averaging 252.552 a contest and currently has two wins over Division I Presbyterian and wins over Montevallo and Converse. In their first meet of the season, they defeated the Falcons 258.245-241.340.
Scouting Talladega
The Tornadoes come into their final meet of the season with a 2-3 record including wins over East Texas Baptist and Newberry.
Talladega is averaging 193.439 points per meet and notched their season-high score of 196.470 against East Texas Baptist on Mar. 14.
