LAKELAND, Fla. - The D2CCA has released its 2025 All-South Region selections, Monday, with Montevallo's Connor Crowson, Adiel Melendez, McGwire Turner and Evan Radford earning recognition.

Crowson, a native of Okotoks, Canada, set career high's in runs scored with 51, hits with 81, doubles with 13, homers with 16 and RBI with 62. He had 23 multi-hit games, 16 multi-RBI games and an OPS of 1.096. Crowson earneds the First-Team nod as a designated hitter.

Melendez, a native of Miami, Florida, threw 98.1 innings for the Falcons in 2025. A winner of 10 games, Melendez was the top strikeout artist in the Gulf South Conference as he fanned 102. He held opponents to a .242 batting average against, had an ERA of 2.38 and had a WHIP of 1.23.Out of his 89 hits allowed, he only gave up 24 extra base hits. He was a First-Team selection.

Turner, a native of Helena, Alabama, led the Falcons this season with a .404 batting average, 86 hits and an on base percentage of .484. He was selected to the First-Team along with Crowson and Melendez as he drove in 47 RBI and hit nine doubles and eight home runs. He had a 30 game reached base streak and Turner ended the season with a 23 consecutive on base streak. 

Radford, a native of Hoover, Alabama, was selected to the Second-Team as a utility player as he played right field, designated hitter and first base for the Falcons in 2025. Radford was an extra base machine as he had 16 doubles and 16 homers. Radford was clutch in the postseason and blasted four home runs in six games including a two-homer game against West Florida to knock out the Argonauts. He collected seven hits, five runs scored, two doubles and 12 RBI.
