Men's Soccer Announces 2025 Schedule

MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Montevallo Men's Soccer Head Coach Bruce Dietterle has released the 2025 schedule which includes five non-conference and 11 conference games, along with three exhibition matchups.

The Falcons open the 2025 campaign with three exhibitions, as UM hosts UT Southern (Aug. 17), Georgia Southwestern (Aug. 22), and Clayton State (Aug. 29). The Aug. 22 exhibition contest against Georgia Southwestern will serve as Community Night and feature a pre-game fan fest with food trucks, prizes, games, and more.

The Falcons open the regular season on the road, facing off against a pair of teams that competed in the 2024 NCAA Tournament. Montevallo kicks off the season in Florence, S.C., against Francis Marion (Sept. 4), before heading to Mars Hill, N.C., for a matchup against the Mars Hills Lions (Sept. 6).

Montevallo then hosts its first regular season home games of the year, facing off against Anderson (Sept. 10) and Nova Southeastern (Sept. 13). UM closes the non-conference slate at Carson-Newman on Sept. 22.
The Falcons open the Gulf South Conference slate in Tennessee, with road contests against Lee (Sept. 26) and Trevecca Nazarene (Sept. 28).

The next week the Falcons face a pair of in-state opponents, with a road contest against UAH (Oct. 3) and a home match against West Alabama (Oct. 5).

The home stretch continues with a pair of games against Spring Hill (Oct. 10) and West Florida (Oct. 12), before the Falcons face in-state rival Auburn Montgomery (Oct. 17) on the road.

The road stretch continues in Tennessee with a pair of games at Christian Brothers (Oct. 24) and Union (Oct. 26).

Montevallo closes the regular season with a pair of home games against Delta State (Oct. 31) and Mississippi College (Nov. 2).

The Gulf South Conference postseason is set to begin on Sunday, Nov. 9 with higher seeds hosting the first round before the tournament moves to John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Ala. for both the semifinals and finals on Nov. 14 and 16, respectively.
