Komara Announces 2025-26 Men's Basketball Schedule

MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Montevallo Men's Basketball Head Coach Anthony Komara has unveiled the Falcons' 2025-26 schedule.
 
OFFICIAL SCHEDULE
 
The Falcons open the season with a pair of games in the Gulf South Conference/Sunshine State Conference Crossover with the season-opener coming on Nov. 14 against Barry in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Montevallo then takes on host Nova Southeastern on Saturday, Nov. 15. Montevallo then heads to Americus, Ga. to face off with Georgia Southwestern on Nov. 22. Montevallo's home opener comes on Nov. 24 against Fisk University before the Falcons host Spring Hill on Wednesday, Nov. 26 for the final nonconference game to start the season.
 
Montevallo's GSC schedule opens in the month of December with a road trip to Lee on Dec. 4 before heading to Trevecca Nazarene on Saturday, Dec. 6. The Falcons' first home conference game comes on Dec. 11 against Delta State before UM plays host to Mississippi College on Dec. 13. Montevallo then heads back out on the road for a two-game road trip at Christian Brothers and Union on Dec. 18 and 20, respectively. Montevallo closes the 2025 calendar year with a home matchup against Point on Dec. 31.
 
The new year opens with three consecutive home games for the Falcons beginning with Auburn Montgomery on Jan. 4 before hosting Alabama Huntsville and West Alabama on Jan. 8 and 10, respectively. The Falcons then head to Valdosta, Ga. on Jan. 15 to face off with Valdosta State before meeting West Florida on Jan. 17. The Falcons move to the back half of the conference schedule when Trevecca Nazarene and Lee come to Montevallo, Ala. on Jan. 22 and 24. The Falcons close the month of January with a two-game road trip from Jan. 29-31 at Mississippi College and Delta State.
 
The final month of the season opens for the Falcons against Union on Feb. 5 at home before UM hosts Christian Brothers on Feb. 7. The Falcons then go on a three-game road trip first on Feb. 14 at AUM before heading to West Alabama on Feb. 19. Montevallo then closes the trip at UAH on Feb. 21 before heading into the final weekend of the season. The Falcons' penultimate game of the season comes on Feb. 25 at home against West Florida before closing the regular season against Valdosta State on Feb. 27.
 
The 2026 Gulf South Conference Tournament begins on March 2 with the higher seed hosting the quarterfinals before the March 5 semifinals. The championship game will be played on March 8 with the higher seed hosting the final.
