MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Montevallo Women's Lacrosse Head Coach Adrianna Piontek has announced the Falcons' 2026 schedule that features 15 contests with five Gulf South Conference meetings.
 
OFFICIAL SCHEDULE
 
Montevallo opens the season with an exhibition contest against Rhodes College on Sunday, Jan. 25 at 1 p.m. in Montevallo, Ala. The Falcons' regular season stint opens on the road on Jan. 31 at Newberry in South Carolina before traveling to Rome, Ga. to take on Shorter at 4 p.m. on Feb. 7.
 
Piontek's squad takes on Young Harris on Feb. 14 at 11 a.m. for the Falcons' home opener to kick off a four game homestand. A week later, Montevallo hosts Emmanuel on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 3 p.m. before taking on Embry-Riddle on Friday, Feb. 27 at 1 p.m. The Falcons' close its four-game home stint with a matchup against Saint Leo on March 1 at 11 a.m.
 
The 2026 Falcons then head back out on the road for a pair of meetings in the Carolinas beginning with a trip to South Carolina to take on North Greenville on March 7^th. Montevallo then heads to North Carolina to face Belmont Abbey on March 14^th at 11 a.m. On March 16^th, Montevallo opens the conference schedule with a home matchup against GSC newcomer Virginia State with the first draw set for 6 p.m. The Falcons then close out the nonconference schedule with a trip to south Florida to take on Lynn at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March in Boca Raton, Fla. before facing off with Palm Beach Atlantic on Monday, March 23^rd at 4 p.m.
 
Montevallo's final four games of the season feature a quartet of GSC matchups beginning with a road meeting at Alabama Huntsville on Saturday, March 28^th at the p.m. The Falcons then head back to South Carolina for the third time in 2026 to face off with Lander on Saturday, April 4^th. UM closes the regular season with a pair of home contests in mid-April beginning with an April 11^th meeting against Flagler on the bricks. Montevallo's final game of the season is set for April 18^th against Lee for Montevallo's senior day.
 
The Gulf South Conference Championship Tournament is set to begin on April 24^th at the Loretta P. Spencer Sports Complex with the semifinals on the opening day of competition. The 2026 GSC Champion will be crowned on April 26^th in Huntsville, Ala.
