LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced its latest NFCA/GoRout Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll on Tuesday, as Montevallo remained at the No. 20 spot.

Montevallo holds an overall record of 30-6 and a 13-5 mark in Gulf South Conference play. The Falcons earned 109 points to earn the No. 20 spot, after going 5-0 on the week in games against Columbus State and Lee. Montevallo has now picked up five consecutive conference series victories.

Taylor Rogers leads the way for Montevallo at the plate and is tied for first in the GSC in hits (48), while ranking third in the league in batting average (.425). Rogers also holds a GSC leading-34 stolen bases. Becca Benton leads the league in home runs (12) and RBIs (37), while ranking third in slugging percentage (.788).

Taylor Lloyd has been solid all season in the circle and leads the entire GSC in wins (20), strikeouts (129), complete games (18), and innings pitched (145.2), while ranking third in ERA (1.54) and opponent batting average (.209).

Two other GSC teams were mentioned in this week's poll including No. 5 AUM and No. 16 West Florida.

Montevallo returns to action later this week with a three-game road series at Delta State (Apr. 2-3).
