LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced its latest NFCA/GoRout Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll on Tuesday, as Montevallo was tabbed No. 22.

Montevallo holds an overall record of 39-11 and a 20-10 mark in Gulf South Conference play. The Falcons earned 60 points to earn the No. 22 spot. Montevallo welcomed No. 7 AUM for a three-game series over the weekend. After falling in the first two matchups, the Falcons bounced back with a 2–0 shutout victory in the finale, securing the highest-ranked win of the season.

Taylor Rogers leads the way at the plate for Montevallo with a .378 batting average and 59 hits, while Taylor Lloyd leads the way in the circle with 23 wins, 143 strikeouts and a 1.70 ERA.

Two other teams were mentioned in this week's poll including No. 8 AUM and No. 14 West Florida, while West Alabama received 11 votes.

Montevallo hosts the No. 14 Argos this weekend to close the regular season.
