MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Montevallo softball team earned the No. 6 spot in the third set of NCAA South Region rankings, released on Wednesday.

Montevallo closed the regular season with an overall record of 39-14 and a 20-13 mark in Gulf South Conference play. The 39 wins during the 2026 campaign set a new program record for wins in a single season. Taylor Lloyd and Taylor Rogers were named First Team All-GSC, Becca Benton and Emma Faulk were named Second Team All-GSC, while Riley Tyree was named on the GSC Gold Glove team.

Montevallo picked up the No. 4-seed in the GSC Tournament and will face fifth-seeded Mississippi College in the first round on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. CST.
