HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Falcons surrendered five straight goals to the Battlers to open up the game.  After the final goal of the opening run was scored in the fifth minute the Falcons trailed 5-0.
• Montevallo got on the board with their only goal of the first half on a shot from Jami Hudak that found the back of the net.
• The Battlers closed out the first half on a 10 goal run and took a 15-1 lead into halftime.
• The Falcons scored a goal to start the second half.  Maddie Ellis scored an unassisted goal in the 31^st minute to make the score 15-2.
• The Falcons scored only two more times in the second half.  The first came from Lara Schuetz in the 37^th minute and then in the 55^th minute Samantha Farrell found the back of the net.
• Montevallo surrendered five goals in the second half to the Battlers as they pulled away with a 20-4 victory.

The Falcons will take on Alabama-Huntsville on Friday April 8^th in Gulf South Conference play with the first draw scheduled for 5:00pm.
