HOW IT HAPPENED

The Falcons and the Bulldogs met in the Falcons first game of their two game road trip to South Carolina.

The Montevallo defense came out in the first half and created problems for Barton right from the very beginning.  The Falcons held the Bulldogs to just one goal in the opening half of play.  Montevallo netted 10 goals in the first half to take a 10-1 lead into halftime.

The second half was more hotly contested with the Falcons outscoring the Bulldogs 5-4.  Montevallo cruised to a 15-5 victory over Barton College to improve to 6-5 on the season.

Jami Hudak led the Falcons in goals scored with five in today's game, while freshman Alyssa Kaminski recorded another hat trick, her third of the season.
