- Montevallo finished the game with a 7-2 run to force overtime, but West Alabama went on a 8-1 run to end the extra period and held the Falcons without a field goal in the final 3:29 to hold on for the win.

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The University of Montevallo men's basketball team pushed its Gulf South Conference game against in-state rival University of West Alabama into overtime on the road before falling 70-65 in conference play Jan. 26.
Montevallo finished the game with a 7-2 run to force overtime, but West Alabama went on a 8-1 run to end the extra period and held the Falcons without a field goal in the final 3:29 to hold on for the win.
