NCAA PREVIEW: Glass, Gonzales Race in NCAA Championship Saturday

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The University of Montevallo women's cross country program is gearing up for its ninth-consecutive NCAA Division II National Championship race when automatic qualifiers Justine Glass and Taylor Gonzales hit the race course Saturday morning, Nov.  23. This is the first time UM has ever had two individuals compete in the NCAA Championship. 

The 39th annual NCAA Division II Women's Cross Country Championship 6K begin at 12 p.m. CT / 10 a.m. PT at the Arcade Creek Cross Country Course in Sacramento, California. The championship is hosted by California State University, city of Sacramento and the Sacramento Sports Commission. The men's 10K championship will follow the women's championship.

Glass and Gonzales qualified for the championship after posting Top 5 finishes at the NCAA Division II South Region on Nov. 9. Glass finished third with a 6K time of 21:48.53. Gonzalez was fifth in 22:08.33.

FloTrack will provide subscription-based live video coverage of the championship along with coverage of the NCAA DI and DIII Championships on Saturday.
