MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Montevallo men's and women's cross-country teams are set to compete in the Bobcat Invitational on Friday, Sept. 26 in Milledgeville, Ga. The women's 5K race will begin at 5 p.m., followed by the men's 8K race at 6 p.m. 
 
The meet marks the Falcons' third race of the season and follows a strong performance at the Falcon Classic, where both groups showed significant improvement from their season opener. 
 
Montevallo Men
On the men's side, the Falcons are coming off a fourth-place finish at the Falcon Classic, highlighted by a great performance from Zak Ferguson, who won the individual title with a time of 24:56.08.

Jackson Howse and Ryan Cox added strong finishes in 12^th and 15^th place, while Estan Wrights and Joshua Howard helped solidify the scoring finishes in the top 45. With continued development and depth, the men's squad will look to climb even higher in Friday's race. 

Montevallo Women
The women's team will look to build on a third-place finish at the Falcon Classic, where they packed well and place five runners in the top 40. Sable George led the way with an 11^th-place finish in 19:26.02, followed by Ava Taylor and Morgan Remley, who crossed in 13^th and 14^th.

Kaitlynn Moore and Olivia Blackmon rounded out the scoring five, contributing to a great team effort on the home course. With momentum on their side, the Falcons aim to continue their upward trajectory on the road in Milledgeville.
