NASHVILLE, Tenn - On Saturday, January 18 the track and field team took on the Vanderbilt Invitational where they continued to show their strengths. 
The Falcon's Dashaun Morgan jumped 7.08 in the long jump, which landed him in fourteenth place out of twenty-five.  Will McBride ran 1:53.49 in the 800 to set a new school record. "All of these guys faced great D1 competition and gave all they had. We are proud of the way they competed. This will definitely help them as the season continues," Coach Tommy Barksdale noted of his team, "we have plenty of work left to do but are heading in the right direction."
