HOOVER, Ala. - The University of Montevallo cross country program is back on the course Friday morning for the UAB Blazer Classic at Veterans Park in Hoover, Alabama.  The men's 8K race will start at 9:20 with the women's 6K set to start at 9:55.  Due to the caution of COVID-19 spectators will not be allowed at the event.
 
"After a solid debut at Troy, the team will look to continue the momentum at Veterans Park in order to prepare for the GSC Championships. Both are eager to get back to racing.  The team has been training hard and are ready to get back to it.  This will be a great opportunity to tune up our skills before the conference championships," remarked head coach Tommy Barksdale.
