MONTEVALLO, Ala - The University of Montevallo Track and field team will be at the Birmingham Crossplex on February 18th and 19th for the Gulf South Conference Indoor Championship meet.  The Falcons look to carry on the momentum of a successful season into the conference championship where they look to record their best marks of the entire year.  So far three falcons have lead the conference in certain events:

Long Jump: Dashaun Morgan, UM - 7.40m

800m: Will McBride, UM - 1:53.49

Heptathlon: Caleb Long, UM - 4162 pts

Coach Tommy Barksdale spoke on the preparation of his team leading up to this meet, "Both teams have put in hard work leading up to the championships.  We are looking for our best marks of the year."
