CALERA, Ala. - The Montevallo women's golf team is off to a great start in the 2021 Montevallo Full Moon BBQ Classic, sitting at the top of the team leaderboard with a round one score of 295 (+11).  UM is led by a trio of newcomers who are making their Montevallo debut.

The Falcons are currently led by Anne-Linn Fjaervikp who is tied for first individually, breaking even for a par 71. 

Fjaervikp is paced by Caterina Oliveri who is in third place with a round one score of 73 (+2).  

The last Falcon to place in the top ten after the first day is Paula Bermejo who is tied for seventh with a score of 75 (+4).

UP NEXT: The Montevallo Full Moon BBQ Classic will resume tomorrow morning with the tee time set for 8:00 AM at Timberline Golf Course.
