NEW ORLEANS - After an impressive finish at the Montevallo Falcon Classic, the UM cross country program has been ranked in both the women's and men's side of the NCAA Division Cross Country Regional Rankings, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCCA), Tuesday afternoon.  The men's team is currently sitting in eighth with the women placing tenth in the South Region poll.

The men's team finished first at the Montevallo Falcon Classic and the women's team came in second, over GSC foes such as AUM, and Delta State.

The Falcons are scheduled to return to action on Friday, Sept., 17th when they take on the UAH Chargers Cross Country Invite.
