MONTEVALLO, Ala. - Senior Nemanja Acimovic joined two other Montevallo Falcons to earn spots on the Gulf South Conference All-Academic team for Fall 2021. The three athletes highlighted a list of 78 Falcons to be honored by the GSC for their academic excellence.

Acimovic is a computer informatics major with a 3.73 GPA. He was second on the Falcons men's soccer team in scoring with five goals and one assist in 2021. Three of his scores were game-winners for the Falcons, were the GSC regular season champions. His three game winning goals ranked him fourth in the conference. Acimovic earned GSC Offensive Player of the Week during the week of September 14th, 2021 after scoring two goals and adding an assist in a win over Saint Leo. For his performance on the field, he was named Second Team All-GSC.
