LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Montevallo men's cross country team finished 27th in the Greater Louisville Classic in a field stacked with Division I competition.
"Even though it wasn't the day we were hoping for we know we are on track to finish the season on a high note," said Head Coach
Tommy Barksdale. "We are looking forward to the last half of the season."
Graduate student
Joe Leventry lead the pack for the Falcons with an eighth-place time of 24:31.6.
Drew Roberts and
Joseph Pitard were the second and third Montevallo runners to finish with times of 25:50.5 and 25:50.6, respectively.
Bill Archer and
Owen Marquardt rounded out the scoring for the Falcons.
Next up for Montevallo is a race hosted by the University of Alabama at Birmingham on Friday, Oct. 14.
