MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The University of Montevallo men's soccer's Tomas Valles and women's soccer's Alexandra Dan have been named the Montevallo Players of the Week for the week of Oct. 17.
 
Tomas Valles (Men's Soccer)
The freshman made his first career start in the Falcons' 2-0 win over Lee on Friday, Oct. 14. The Santiago, Chile native earned his first career clean sheet while adding five saves as he played all 90 minutes of the Falcons' win. Valles first-career win solidified a post-season appearance for Montevallo in the GSC Tournament.
 
Alexandra Dan (Women's Soccer)
The senior forward fired six shots with four shots on goal, one goal and an assist in women's soccer 10-0 win over Shorter on Sunday. Dan finished the week with a total of three points, ten shots and four shots on goal as Montevallo went 2-0 over the weekend.
