MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Montevallo men's cross country team earned another second-place finish at the Falcon Classic in Montevallo, Ala. on Friday morning.
"Our team had a very strong race today, it's always nice to do well on your home course," said Head Coach
Tommy Barksdale. "We are excited for what's in store for the rest of the season."
Graduate
Joe Leventry put together another strong race as he took home fourth in the event with a time of 25:03.53.
Joseph Pitard was the second Falcon to finish the course with an 11th place time of 25:36.90.
Drew Roberts earned a top-15 placement after completed the race in 26:05.79.
Owen Marquardt (25th, 26:37.01) and
Bill Archer (26th, 26:42.00) rounded out the scoring for Montevallo.
The Falcons will head to Louisville, Ky. on Oct. 1 to race in the Greater Louisville Classic.
