Montevallo, Ala. – The men's and women's cross-country teams finish their seasons at the NCAA Division II South Regional
The NCAA DII South Regional was held at the Montevallo Cross Country course, with the women's 6k race starting at 8:00 am.
Amber Fisher was the first Falcon across the line, with a time of 23:02.0. She finished 58
th overall. The next four point scorers for the Falcons finished 70
th, 72
nd, 73
rd, and 75
th.
Natalie Warner,
Reagan Oliver,
Abby Snyder, and
Ana Watters rounded out the top five with times of 23:19.0, 23:24.2, 23:25.5 and 23:27.5 respectively.
Morgan Remley was the final Falcon to cross the line, with a time of 24:46.2.
The men's 9.8k race started just after the women's, at 9:15 am.
Drew Roberts was the Falcon to watch in this race. He finished in 33
rd place, with a time of 31:53.0, finishing just outside of the national qualifying spots.
Cameron Prosser was the next Falcon to end the race. He ran a 33:43.0, placing 71
st. The final three point scorers for Montevallo were
Raekwon Hopkins,
Keegan Rafferty, and
Aidan Golden. These three finished 82
nd, 83
rd, and 84
th, with times of 34:15.0, 34:18.1, and 34:24.5 respectively.
Drew Thayer finished Just behind them, in 86
th, and Ryan cox finished with a time of 35:56.0.
