BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Gulf South Conference has named Leah Dendy as the Field Athlete of the Week following a podium performance at the annual Falcon Classic.
 
The freshman finished second in the pole vault behind a Div. I athlete with a mark of 3.45-meters. Dendy was the highest finisher of any Div. II athlete in the event.
 
Dendy and the rest of the Falcon Track and Field squad are set to return to action on Mar. 24-25 at the Emory Spring Break Classic.
