TUSCON, Ariz. – The University of Montevallo Baseball team is ranked No. 13 across NCAA Division II in the latest Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Top-30 regular season rankings, released Monday.
 
After moving to No. 10 last week, Montevallo drops to No. 13 following a 2-2 week.
 
At 29-9 overall on the year, Montevallo remains the highest-ranked Gulf South Conference team in the poll ahead of No. 22 Valdosta State (23-10) and No. 25 West Georgia (25-11).
 
On the week Montevallo defeated Miles 15-3 in midweek action but dropped a conference series on the road to Lee, 2-1.  


Additionally, the Falcons moved to No. 4 in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers South Region rankings. UM has been ranked in the poll all season long and as high as No. 2.

The Falcons return to action on Wednesday, April 12, in a game against Tuskegee at 2 p.m. in Montevallo, Alabama.
