NEW ORLEANS, La. - The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association has released the third 2023 South Region poll with the Falcons holding tenth.
 
The Falcons opened the season with a fourth-place finish in the Foothills Invitational out of 28 teams. Montevallo followed up with a third-place finish at the Falcon Classic.
 
Senior Drew Roberts has been on fire to start the season with a third-place finish and a tenth-place finish in his two races. Bill Archer and Nathaniel Loving have been great compliments to Roberts as Archer finished in 13^th in the Falcon Classic with a time of 26:12.52 while Loving came in 30^th with a time of 26:47.75.
 
The Falcons will take the course again on Oct. 7 in the UAH Invitational in Huntsville, Alabama.
