CLINTON, Miss. – The Montevallo Cross Country teams competed in the GSC Championships on Saturday, with the women placing sixth and the men finishing ninth at Choctaw Trails.
Montevallo Men
The Falcons tallied 224 points to earn the ninth-place finish. No. 9 Lee finished first with 23 points, while No. 14 Alabama Huntsville (53) and Mississippi College (79) rounded out the top three.
Joseph Pitard led the way for the men and placed 35
th overall. The graduate student finished with a time of 25:49.30 in the 8k.
Cameron Prosser was the next Falcon finisher, pacing a 26:20.30 to place 46
th.
Josh Stidfole ran a 26:42.30 to finish 57
th and
Parker Hicks placed 59
th, with a time of 26:43.79.
Jackson Howse rounded out the top-five scorers for UM, finishing 61
st with a time of 26:52.50.
Other Falcon finishers included

Montevallo Women
The Falcons garnered 168 points to capture the sixth-place finish. No. 13 Lee placed first with 15 points, while Alabama Huntsville (72) and Mississippi College (104) rounded out the top three.
Natalie Warner led the way for the women and placed 22
nd overall. The senior finished with a time of 23:43.00 in the 6k.
Abby Snyder was the next finisher for UM, pacing a 24:15.00 to place 31
st.
Morgan Remley finished 42
nd with a time of 24:37.90 and
Reagan Oliver paced a 24:48.30 to place 44
th.
Brooke Ramsey rounded out the top-five scorers for the Falcons, placing 51
st with a time of 25:11.70.

The NCAA DII South Regionals will take place on Saturday, Nov. 9 in Huntsville, Ala.
