NEW ORLEANS, La. – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released its Week #4 rankings, with Montevallo Men's Cross Country rising one spot to eighth.

Montevallo last saw action on Sept. 28, competing in the Michael Pretorius Invitational, where the Falcons secured a first-place finish in a field that featured multiple NCAA D1 schools such as Austin Peay and Tennessee State.

The Falcons are one of seven GSC teams in the poll, with Lee (first), Alabama Huntsville (second), Mississippi College (fifth), Christian Brothers (seventh), Trevecca Nazarene (ninth), and Union (tenth) also being represented.

Montevallo returns to action this week, competing in the Royals Cross Country Challenge on Friday, Oct. 11.
