GREENWOOD, Ind. – The College Sports Communicators have named its Division II Women's Soccer Academic All-District teams with five Falcons named to the academic team.

Lainey Farabaugh,
Morgan Goehring,
Emily Hounsell and
Bailey Raphelt were the five Falcons to earn the national honor.
Burress, a senior midfielder, earned her second-consecutive CSC Academic All-District honor with a 3.97 GPA in her Graphic Design courses. The Enterprise, Ala. native has appeared in all 20 games for the Falcons with starts throughout the season with a total of 1,136 minutes of action.
Farabaugh, a sophomore from Altoona, Pa., found her first-career Academic All-District award with a 4.00 GPA as a Data Analytics major. The Falcons' forward has started in all 20 contests during the 2024 season with 14 points on seven goals with a Gulf South Conference leading six game-winning goals.
Goehring, the sophomore midfielder, was named to the team in her first season of eligibility with a 3.90 GPA in her Mathematics program. The Yorba Linda, Ca. native started in all 18 of her appearances in 2024 with five goals and six assists under her belt for a total 16 points on the season.
Hounsell, the Falcons' goalkeeper, has played all 90 minutes in each of the Falcons' 20 games this season with a 1.10 goals against average while recording nine shutouts on the season for the most by any Gulf South keeper. The Brighton, England native earned their first CSC All-District honor with a 3.85 GPA as a Psychology major.
Finally, Raphelt, a senior midfielder out of Brandon, Miss., has appeared in all 20 games for Montevallo with a total of 734 minutes of action while taking 17 shots with seven shots on frame. The senior earned her second-consecutive award with a 3.91 GPA as a Biology major.
The five Falcons move on to Academic All-America voting with the CSC's All-American team released on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 11 a.m.
