MONTEVALLO, Ala. – For the first time in series history, North Greenville comes to Montevallo, Ala. for a meeting with the Falcons on Friday, Feb. 9 for a 4 p.m. start.

Through one game, Montevallo is 0-1 on the season with a 20-4 loss to No. 15 Embry-Riddle on Feb. 3 in the season opener.

With one game under the belt, North Greenville holds a 1-0 record with a 13-7 win over Catawba on Monday, Feb. 5.
In the season-opening win, the Crusaders were led by a four-goal performance from freshman midfielder Isabella Ortiz who added two assists for a total of six points in her first game of the season. Junior Kylie Keen is second on the team with five points on three goals and two assists in the win over Catawba. In the net, Tori Smith holds a .563 save percentage with nine saves on 21 shots faced with seven goals allowed so far this season.
Series History Against North Greenville:
The Falcons hold a 2-1 record over North Greenville in the short-lived series that began on March 18, 2017. The first meeting between the two sides saw NGU take a 17-5 win over Montevallo before the Falcons took games two and three by scores of 13-11 and 15-13, respectively. The latest meeting came on Feb. 25, 2022 with Montevallo walking away with the victory.
