GREENWOOD, S.C. – Montevallo dropped two spots in the final round of the Lady Bearcat Invitational to finish fourth, Tuesday, at Greenwood County Club.
In rounds one and two on Monday the Falcons shot combined score totals of 303 and 302 to stand in second entering the final round.
Round three saw the Falcons drop back to fourth with a 306 in the final round.
Montevallo's
Madison Rincon climbed the leaderboard on the final day and was the top finisher for UM at tied-14th with a score of plus-10. She shot 75 in round one, dropped a shot with a 76 in round to and moved up three spots in the final standings with a 75 in the final round.

Individual Highlights:
- Rincon highlighted the Falcons tournament with a tied-14th finish at 10-over.
- Kaylee Ehret started the final round tied for third but fell back to tied-27th in the final standings as the second-highest finisher for UM at 15-over.
Team Highlights:
- Montevallo was one of three GSC teams in the event. the falcons finished behind Lee (second) and ahead of West Georgia ((12th)
UP NEXT: Montevallo is scheduled to travel to Greenwood, S.C. for the Lady Bearcat Invitational hosted by Lander on March 25-26.
