BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Montevallo track and field team started its weekend, with two athletes competing in the Women's Pentathlon at the Samford Multi on Thursday.

Kylie Carroll finished eighth overall. Carroll had three top ten individual finishes, placing second in the long jump (5.31m), fourth in the shot put (10.67m), sixth in the 60m Hurdles (9.43), and eighth in the 800m (2:41.57).

Hallie Harrell placed 18^th overall and captured a ninth-place individual finish in the shot put (9.23m).

More Falcons will compete on Friday and Saturday in the Samford Invitational and Samford Open.
