DAHLONEGA, Ga. – Montevallo women's golf finished eighth at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial Tournament hosted by North Georgia at Achasta Golf Club.
 
The Falcons opened the tournament with a strong round one score of one-under with a total of 16 birdies in the opening round to give Montevallo a third-place finish after the first 18 holes. Montevallo slipped down the leaderboard to 10^th with a round-two score of 10-over with 14 birdies and an eagle. The Falcons then fired a round three 12-over to finish the tournament in eighth place with 13 birdies in the final round.
 
Fabiola DeCespedes and Francesca De Roover took the top finishes for the Falcons with a T-30^th placement with a score of five-over. DeCespedes opened the tournament with a five-under 67 in round one before adding an even-par 72 in round two before finishing the tournament with a round-three score of 82 (+10). De Roover carded a round-one 69 (-3) with seven birdies before finishing round two with a score of 78 (+6). In the final round, De Roover turned in a 74 (+2). Ainoa Ruiz took home a T-38^th finish with a score of seven-over after finishing round one with a seven-over 79 before carding a one-under 71 in round two with the Falcons lone eagle on the week. The freshman then added a one-over 73 in round three with five bridies to close the tournament. Sophomore Kate Cost added a T-51^st finish with a total score of 12-over after a round-one 72 before recording a nine-over 81 in round two and a round-three score of three-over (75). Angelina Oliveri rounded out Montevallo's scores with a T-74^th finish with scores of 11-over, five-over and six-over to finish with a total score of 22-over.
