BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Gulf South Conference has named Montevallo goalkeeper
Ciara Duff as the league's Goalkeeper of the Week for the second time this season.

For the week, Duff tallied another pair of clean sheets in Montevallo's 1-0-1 week with a total of 10 saves on 26 shots faced in 180 minutes in goal. In the Falcons' 0-0 tie at Mississippi College, the junior keeper tallied a trio of saves on 11 shots faced while playing all 90 minutes in goal for her fifth shutout of the season. The Edinburgh, Scottland native then added seven saves on 15 shots faced in Montevallo's 1-0 win over Delta State on Oct. 11. Duff now leads the league with a .000 goals against average with a third-best six shutouts on the season through her six starts.
Duff will take to the field again on Wednesday, Oct. 15 on the road at Lee in Cleveland, Tenn. with kickoff set for 4 p.m.
