MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Montevallo track and field teams return to action this weekend, competing in the UAB Vulcan Invite on Friday and the UAB Green and Gold Invite on Saturday.

The Falcons opened the season at the Birmingham Indoor Icebreaker in December where Montevallo picked up four top-ten finishes on both the men's and women's side.
The Falcons most recently competed at the Samford Multi, Invite and Open (Jan. 16-18). A trio of Falcons earned podium finishes at the Samford Open.
Zauren Burton earned the highest finish for UM, placing second in the Women's High Jump (1.60m). A pair of Falcons secured third place finishes in the 5000m as
Natalie Warner ran a 18:40.56 in the Women's 5000m and
Jackson Howse ran a 15:07.39 in the Men's 5000m.
Action on Friday is set to begin at 9:00 a.m. CST at the Birmingham Crossplex.
